Important update on Germany's new postal law — effective January 1, 2025
From January 1, 2025, new postal rules in Germany will introduce updated requirements for heavy parcels. Packages weighing over 10kg or 20kg must be appropriately labelled to ensure compliance with these new laws.
All carriers will be affected by these changes, and it is critical to comply with the updated labeling requirements to maintain reliable quality and meet all legal obligations.
To ensure compliance and work safety, carriers must provide accurate package weight information. If packages exceed 10kg or 20kg, they must use the appropriate symbol to indicate the weight.

If we do not receive notice from carrier by December 1, 2024, we cannot guarantee implementation by January 1, 2025. This means that once we receive specifications from the respective carrier, there is a development time of an estimated 30 days after the specification received.
