Hi Charlie!
We have the luxury of continuing to welcome new colleagues to the company and now we want to introduce a real star: Charlie Skibsted! Charlie has a long (and for us, valuable) experience from the industry where he has tried out several different roles. He most recently came from the school desk after having dabbled in system development at Campus Varberg and is now a rock at .NET. In addition to Charlie's experience in the transport world and knowledge in development, he is a highly valued colleague who contributes to the good atmosphere in the workplace.
After a day in the office, there is a good chance that you will find Charlie surfing out on the sea. Or maybe with a guitar in hand, performing with their own (!) songs. If he has some hidden talent? Surely many, but one is to whistle with vibrato.
What is the most fun thing about your work?
The most fun part of my work is being part of our amazing team. We have incredible cohesion and create a positive and energy-filled work environment every day. It is also very rewarding to constantly face and solve different problems and challenges together.
What might a typical workday look like for you?
Every day is different from the other, but common is a cup of coffee in the morning and then everything from help desk issues can appear, meetings about what to develop next or sitting and programming new features.
What positive qualities do you have?
My positive qualities include my ability to work effectively in teams and create a good atmosphere among colleagues. I am solution-oriented and enjoy taking on challenges and finding creative ways to solve problems.
What does the future of logistics look like?
We face challenges as we will see more automation and a focus on greener solutions. All of us will have to keep up with developments and be agile in the changes.
What's the best thing about Varberg?
The proximity to the sea and the wave surf is the best thing about Varberg. There are also very active communities around many of your hobbies which makes it easy to meet new people and collaborate.
