Get to know Zhipster - Jan Häggström

Here is our newest member of the Zhipster family: Janne Häggström!

Janne is a genuine Varberg resident from Norrland who thinks the best thing about the city is the summer on the best coast with all the tourists and events (although the tranquility that occurs when they go is at least as good). We at Zhipster have enjoyed Janne's company and expertise since February 2023, before that he has worked as a project manager with a focus on data analysis.

In addition to hanging out with loved ones in her spare time, Janne also usually delves into predictive analytics with machine learning, or socializing with dogs. Janne is, according to himself (and all the dogs he meets), a star at dog psychology and can get dogs to do what he wants without asking for it. And soon there will be a new little four-legged move into Janne's house.

Janne, describe a typical workday look like for you?

There seem to be no typical working days in this world. But I try to start the day with a quick plan and go through my emails. Then it's full speed until I go home. Full speed can consist of everything from working with GDPR — General Data Protection Regulation to helping customers with everything from support to project management. One particularly good day, I sit and analyze data that will bring business benefits to our customers.

What positive qualities do you have?

Structured, actionable and that I always try to have a smile on my face. In addition, I make great sauces and do not take life too seriously, but try to have fun on the trip.

What does the future of logistics look like?

In the future, the logistics industry will continue to grow and is likely to change with new technologies. The convenience of e-commerce will make the industry continue to grow and change as more people want to receive their shipments as soon as possible. Here I see alternative transportation as part of that. For example drones but also like Foodora where you can order from shops in the surrounding area and get it delivered straight away. There will also be greater demand for environmentally friendly transport.

Top five:

The food: Burgers. But game meat with good sauce and boiled potatoes also makes it watery in the mouth.

The series: Currently the series Lucifer on Netflix. But all time high is probably all the movies with Lord of the Rings as movies and One Piece as a series.

Music: Omnivorous but uptemp music and reggae is something that often goes at home. However, AC/DC also rumbles quite often. Favorites today are Miss Li and Emil Assergård.

Team: Family is probably my favorite team
